【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforthecompositionandpurityofbreathinggases,otherthancompressedair,foruseindivingandhyperbaricapplications.Thestandardisapplicabletothefollowingcategoriesofgasmixtures:a)breathingoxygen;b)oxygenandnitrogengasmixtures(knownasnitrox);c)oxygenandheliumgasmixtures(knownasheliox);d)oxygen,heliumandnitrogengasmixtures(knownastrimix).Thestandardisnotapplicabletocompressedgasesformedicaluse,ortogasesforuseinhighaltitudebreathingapparatus.NOTE1ThecompositionandpurityofcompressedairisspecifiedinBSEN12021.NOTE2Ifcompressedairforadivingapplicationisintendedforcreatinganitroxmixturethiscompressedair(alsoknownas“oxygencompatibleair”)isconsideredtobenitroxandissubjecttotherequirementsspecifiedinthisstandard.
