【摘要】:Thefreezingpointofanaviationfuelisthelowesttemperatureatwhichthefuelremainsfreeofsolidhydrocarboncrystals.Thesecrystalscanrestricttheflowoffuelthroughthefuelsystemoftheaircraft.Thetemperatureofthefuelintheaircrafttanknormallydecreasesduringflightdependingonaircraftspeed,altitude,andflightduration.Thefreezingpointofthefuelmustalwaysbelowerthantheminimumoperationalfueltemperature.Petroleumblendingoperationsrequireprecisemeasurementofthefreezingpoint.ThistestmethodproducesresultswhichhavebeenfoundtobeequivalenttoTestMethodD2386andexpressesresultstothenearest0.1x00B0;C,withimprovedprecisionoverTestMethodD2386.ThistestmethodalsoeliminatesmostoftheoperatortimeandjudgmentrequiredbyTestMethodD2386.WhenspecificationrequiresTestMethodD2386,donotsubstitutethistestmethodoranyothertestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetemperaturebelowwhichsolidhydrocarboncrystalsforminaviationturbinefuels.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtocoverthetemperaturerangeofx2212;80to20x00B0;C;however,2003JointASTM/IPInterlaboratoryCooperativeTestProgrammentionedin12.4hasonlydemonstratedthetestmethodwithfuelshavingfreezingpointsintherangeofx2212;42tox2212;60x00B0;C.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see7.1,7.3,and7.5.
