【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifieselectrodepositedcoatingsoftin-cobaltalloyofapproximatecomposition75%(massfraction)to80%(massfraction)tin,remaindercobalt,asasubstitutefordecorativechromiumcoatingsof0,1μmto0,3μmthickness.Hardnessandwearresistancepropertiesofthecoatingsobtainedarenotequivalenttothoseofchromiumcoatings,butsimilartothoseoftin-nickelalloycoatings.Tin-cobaltalloycoatingscanbeappliedbyrackorbarrelplatingprocesses.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsforthesurfaceconditionofthebasismetalpriortoelectroplating.
