【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverelectrichouseholdcookingandfoodservingappliances,ratedat250Vorless,otherthanthosementionedin1.2,foruseinordinarylocations,includingappliancesintendedforcasualandpermanentoutdooruse,inaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Theserequirementsdonotcoverhouseholdelectricranges,electrodetypeappliances,skilletsandfryingtypeappliances,fondues,woks,tempuras,cornpoppers,coffeemakersandbrewingtypeappliances,commercialcookingappliances,microwavecookingappliances,orappliancesthatarecoveredinindividualrequirementsthatareseparatefromthisstandard.ForthepurposesofthisStandard,arequirementthatappliestoonetypeofequipmentisidentifiedbyaspecificreferencetothetypeofequipmentinvolved(forexample,toaster,rotisserie,orotherspecificappliance).Intheabsenceofsuchspecificreferenceoriftheterm"appliance"isemployed,itistobeunderstoodthattherequirementappliestoalltypesofequipmentcoveredbytheStandard.
